Polish game producers gear up for more releases

2015 is set to be a bumper year for fans of computer game developers from Poland.

“The Witcher Battle Arena”, by CD Project Red is an upcoming game for smartphones and tablets. It is set to become a bestseller as it is based on the Witcher game series which has been very successful worldwide.

“’The Witcher’ on tablet is an attempt to ride on the popularity of games already available on computers and consoles, as well on the wildly fashionable [Multiplayer online battle arena] games as well as the growing popularity of tablets,” said Pawel Kaminski, a video-game journalist.

Another highly awaited game is “Dying Light” by Techland, a developer based in the Ostrow Wielkopolski.

Techland is already well known in the community for its successful “Dead Island” game franchise.
